PITMEN PAINTERS

Exhibition Graphics and Identity for the Pitmen Painters exhibition at Woodhorn Museum, Aashington.

This was a re-design of an existing room at Woodhorn. First we painted the all the walls the correct colour to help display the paintings to their best. We used the top of the room to use quotes from the painters themselves to help create a feeling of belonging a space to just sit and take in all the artwork and listen to their audio stories and we then created a gallery guide showing the pictures and the painters on each wall.
