WOODHORN MUSEUM ASHINGTON

STOREHOUSE OF WORDS

An Exhibition on the National Poetry Library.

The Northern poetry library is the largest collection of post-World War II poetry in England outside London, home to the constellations of finely-tuned, often moving and sometimes unnerving words.

Poetry is the interplay of words, white spaces and voices, and history is similarly full of eloquence and gaps. There is no one perfect form nor a single definitive history: the exhibition is about a few key moments in the development of the National Poetry Library.

Our brief was to create the entire theme for the exhibition and using words and pictures supplied by the client to style the exhibition create the graphic panels, logos etc for the exhibition.
